Operations-Centric Revenue Management is a new breed of Revenue Management application to manage the Plants production planning, Distribution Center's fulfillment operations in peak periods when facilities' capacity limitations kick in. OCRM assesses the value of "opportunity to sell" under varying levels of "demand" in a given period by taking into account the "extent of Materials availability for a particular order", "Fulfillment capacity" , "Terms and conditions of sale" (like PO validity period etc.) and helps the organizations maximize the revenue by carefully selecting which demand to fulfill and which demand to steer to a later date or even risk cancellation.
